Staff Product Manager, Search and AI Visibility

In this senior product leadership role, you will shape how thousands of real estate businesses are discovered through traditional search engines and emerging AI-powered platforms. You will own the strategy, roadmap, and business outcomes for organic discovery and AI visibility across a large portfolio of client websites. By combining customer insights, technical SEO expertise, and an understanding of AI-driven search, you will help real estate professionals strengthen their online presence and attract new business. You will partner directly with engineering and design teams to develop scalable platform capabilities that improve visibility and deliver measurable customer value. Through experimentation, rigorous measurement, and continuous product improvement, you will turn complex technical challenges into accessible solutions for non-technical users. Accountabilities - Own the product strategy, roadmap, and business performance for organic search discovery and AI visibility across the platform's extensive portfolio of real estate websites. - Define how customers understand, influence, and measure their visibility across traditional search engines and AI-powered answer platforms, including ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini. - Conduct regular customer research and collaborate with client-facing teams to understand real estate professionals' business needs, identify challenges, and prioritize high-impact product opportunities.

- Build compelling business cases for product investments, connecting roadmap priorities to customer outcomes, product adoption, retention, revenue growth, and long-term business value. - Develop capabilities that help search engines and AI assistants accurately discover, interpret, and reference clients' brands, listings, expertise, and website content. - Establish meaningful measurement frameworks for AI citations, organic visibility, and search performance, helping customers understand the impact of product improvements. - Own the technical foundations that support website discoverability, partnering with engineering and next-generation website platform teams to address recurring issues through scalable defaults, automation, and safeguards. - Design and execute controlled experiments across representative groups of websites, measure results rigorously, and scale successful improvements across the platform. - Work closely with dedicated engineering and design partners to translate product strategy into clear requirements, actionable priorities, and successful product releases. - Simplify complex technical capabilities into intuitive experiences that allow busy, non-technical customers to benefit from advanced search optimization without requiring specialist knowledge. - Collaborate with client success, sales, and marketing teams to coordinate launches, communicate product value, and ensure customers understand and adopt new capabilities. - Monitor changes in search engine algorithms, AI discovery technologies, and digital marketing practices to identify emerging opportunities and adapt product strategy accordingly. - Use AI tools to accelerate research, investigate problems, prototype ideas, and improve product development workflows. - Take end-to-end ownership of the product area, making informed decisions under uncertainty and maintaining accountability for outcomes from initial discovery through launch and ongoing optimization.
