Store Manager - Full Time (Coquitlam)

Overview

Are you looking for a community, a partnership, a team, and an opportunity to learn and grow in your career? As the Store Manager Trainee (SMT), you will work alongside the Store Manager and assist with the direct supervision of the management and store team.

You will learn to lead, manage, and ensure the maximization of sales growth in your store. You will also assist with the loss prevention processes in the store, including participation in prevention strategies and investigations.

You will be enrolled in our Store Manager Trainee training program, which will set you up for success and prepare you to manage your own store within the district.

Responsibilities

• Assist with direct supervision of the management and store team.
• Lead and manage to maximize sales growth.
• Assist with loss prevention processes, including prevention strategies and investigations.
• Enroll in and complete the Store Manager Trainee training program.
• Set strategies, sales goals, and targets for the store.
• Create a communication plan to present to teams at GSM.
• Ensure store conditions are consistently upheld to established standards.
• Account for store recruitment and build a high‑performance team.

Qualifications

• Approximately 2 years experience in retail management and customer service.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge, skills, and experience related to job duties.
