Data Infrastructure Software Engineer Role

Cohere is on the lookout for a Data Infrastructure Software Engineer to drive the development of advanced data systems for AI workloads. Bring your skills in data storage and processing to this innovative team. In this comprehensive role, you will focus on building data infrastructures capable of handling the most demanding AI tasks. Collaborate with elite professionals in the AI field, working on challenges that involve petabyte-scale data solutions and ensure effective operation across various storage systems. Your expertise will help in the transformation of unstructured datasets into valuable resources. Key Responsibilities:

Design and maintain high-performance data infrastructures
Solve challenges related to networking and data performance
Partner with leading researchers and engineers
Turn unstructured data into efficient datasets
Work with distributed frameworks such as Spark and Beam

Requirements:

4+ years in data storage infrastructure experience
Proficient in Python programming
Kubernetes knowledge, especially on storage
Familiarity with analytics tools like Airflow
Enthusiasm for AI and its evolving landscape
