:* The Afternoon Shift S
ervisor will oversee all work being done in the shop, to ensure that product is produced in a cost-effective manner, on time, with conforming quality and under safe working conditions. *Employment Details:* * Afternoon Shift: Monday to Thursday 4:15 pm to 2:15 am * Wage: $30+ depending on experience * Full time - 40 Hours per week * Benefits after probationary period * Compensation will be based upon experience. *Responsibilities * * Supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers * Implement safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment * Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with specifications * Assist in creating a culture of continuous improvement on your shift * Train and mentor staff on proper manufacturing procedures * Conduct regular inspections to identify defects or deviations * Collaborate with other departments to optimize production processes * Ensure quality standards are followed, following ISO Quality specifications *Required Qualifications:* * Minimum 2+ years as a Production Supervisor in a similar field, supervising machine operators. * Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication procedures. * Ability to read and understand manufacturing drawings and specifications. * Strong leadership and communication skills * Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control standards * Ability to analyze data and make sound decisions to improve efficiency * Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail *Company Perks:* * Competitive wages * Excellent benefit packages * Flexible vacation time * Company matched RRSP * Quarterly Goal Rewards * Annual Christmas Party * Employee Share Purchase Plan _We thank all applicants for their interest, but only those selected for interview will be contacted_ Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: From $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: * Company events * Dental care * Disability insurance * Employee assistance program * Employee stock purchase plan * Extended health care * Life insurance * On-site parking * Paid time off * RRSP match * Vision care Schedule: * 10 hour shift * Evening shift * Holidays * Monday to Friday * Night shift * No weekends Work Location: In personVacancy posted 1 day ago
