Neuropsychiatrist Opportunity In British Columbia Winnipeg

Become a vital member of Hillside Centre’s team as a Neuropsychiatrist, focusing on complex neuropsychiatric cases in a full time capacity. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team. The ideal candidate will offer comprehensive neuropsychiatric assessments within our dedicated 12-bed Neuropsychiatry Unit.

You will lead clinical discussions, engage in treatment planning conferences, and contribute to BC Neuropsychiatry rounds weekly. This position also includes options for outpatient care and medical leadership roles.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough neuropsychiatric assessments on adults
• Lead multidisciplinary team meetings for treatment planning
• Participate weekly in BC Neuropsychiatry virtual rounds
• Serve as a resource for transitioning patient care
• Advocate for patient community integration support

Requirements

• Eligible for licensing with the CPSBC
• Board Certified/Eligible in Behavioral Neurology
• US-trained candidates with ABMS certification welcome
• Require Canadian Medical Protective Association coverage
• Proven experience in neuropsychiatry
