Full Time Yard Attendant

Job Responsibility:

Our client, a major Oil and Gas Service company, is seeking a full time yard attendant to assist with propane cylinders, cardlock maintenance, and various yard duties as required. Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Must be able to pass a pre-employment Drug and Alcohol test. Rate of pay is $22.00/hour. Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service for propane cylinder servicing and fills

• Complete daily Cardlock maintenance

• Assisting with weekly and monthly cycle count processing.

• Clean and organize the warehouse and outbuildings.

• Closing of facility and yard.

• Shovel snow.

• Attend monthly staff meetings and all safety meetings.

• Minor repairs to equipment.

• Other job-related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal communication with excellent customer service skills.

• Experience with running computer programs such as Excel and Word.

• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.

• A team player possessing good communication and organizational skills.

• Strong time management skills and the ability to work with others as well as unsupervised.

• Must be willing and able to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly.

• The ability to apply good common sense and safety skills to any situation.

• Propane product knowledge an asset.

• First Aid Training an asset.

• Forklift Training an asset but willing to train.

• Previous WHMIS, Dangerous Goods and Spill Response training an asset.

• Experience with internal billing system applications is considered an asset.

• Valid Driver's license.

• Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
