We are recruiting Marine Engineers and Technologists to our office in North Vancouver for multiple different roles such as:

• System Responsible Engineer (SRE) (Salary 110k - 140k / year)
• Functional Engineer / Project Engineer (Salary 100k - 130k / year)
• Design Engineer / Technologist (Salary 75k - 100k / year)
• Consulting Engineer (Salary 110k - 150k / year)

in multiple disciplines such as:

• HVAC
• Machinery
• Deck
• Electrical & Automation
• Hull structures
• Interior

System Responsible Engineers (SREs) focus on highly detailed technical and commercial acitivities of specific systems and equipment and support the project development during multiple phases from the basic and functional design and procurement through to production design and production execution. They are constantly communicating with other SREs, customers, classification authoities and other stakeholders.

Functional engineers create and update drawings, calculations and other documentation to ensure the design meets class regulations and customer requirements. They also directly or indirectly support the 3D CAD model development.

Design engineers and technologist positions are similar position to functional engineers but typically a smaller scope, less demanding assignments or a more junior role. Individuals working in both positions can also have roles in coordination and project management positions on larger projects.

Consulting Engineers are individuals with a strong background in shipbuilding and design and who can demonstrate high-value consulting and management capabilities in areas such as naval architecture, production, process development, digital transformation or project management.

What we expect from you

• We are looking for Marine Engineers and Technologists for our international consulting and engineering projects. We have a need for a wide range of engineering and design expertise for people with extensive experience (10-15 years) as well as people searching for more junior (1-5 years) positions.
• We expect a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology, Diploma in Naval Architecture, or similar, but we primarily look for people with the right attitude for our team.
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) status is considered a great asset for senior roles such as SRE.
• Experience from different design software such Cadmatic, Aveva, Napa or similar is highly valued.
• We operate in a hybrid mode but also appreciate your willingness to be present in the office in North Vancouver whenever appropriate.
• Excellent communication skills
• An active approach and problem-solving ability
