Job Responsibility:
We are a growing and busy recycling center and bin truck company located in Central Saanich looking for a full time Scale Operator. Duties include: - Greeting customers, weighing vehicles in/out
- Answering customer questions, ensuring loads do not contain inappropriate material
- Processing cash or credit/debit card payments, preparing daily cash outs
- Ensure accurate information obtained from our customers flows to Dispatcher
- Maintain cleanliness of Scale House
Hours Required: Full time position (approx. 4 days/week ). Experience and Skills: - Good communication skills with a positive attitude toward customers and fellow employees
- Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment
- Cashier experience with a point-of-sale system is a definite asset
- Must be bondable
