The Opportunity

We are looking for a polished, personable Waitress to deliver exceptional dining experiences at House of McGrath. You will guide guests through our food and beverage menus, anticipate what they need before they ask, and help create the kind of evening that brings people back. This is a great opportunity for a hospitality professional who takes pride in service and wants to keep growing.

What You'll Do

•      Welcome guests warmly, take accurate orders and serve food and beverages with care and good timing

•      Know the food and beverage menus in depth and make confident recommendations, including features and pairings

•      Anticipate guest needs and keep tables immaculate throughout the meal

•      Coordinate with the kitchen and bar so orders arrive on time, and resolve any concerns graciously

•      Process payments accurately and complete end-of-shift cash-outs

•      Assist with opening and closing duties, restocking and supporting teammates at peak times

•      Follow health, safety and responsible alcohol service standards on every shift

What You Bring

•      1+ years of restaurant serving experience; upscale or fine dining experience is an asset

•      A warm, professional manner and excellent communication skills

•      Strong multitasking ability and composure under pressure

•      Smart Serve certification

•      Ontario Food Handler certification, or willingness to obtain it

•      Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends and holidays
