Full-Time Yard Clerk at our Home Centre in Porcupine Plain, SK DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist in the unloading and be responsible for the proper storage of a variety of building materials.Ensure the safe transfer of material being shipped including securely strapping loads down, use of band clips or protective covering on breakable or sensitive material.
Help operate the till and load products.
Attending to customers, load products and provide friendly customer service.
Maintaining a clean and organized lumber yard and sheds.
Safely operate lumber related equipment such as saws and forklifts.
Must be responsible to learn all product lines.
Helping ensure shelves are stocked and kept clean and organized at all times
Must be well organized, and capable of attaining a high level of production.
Some heavy lifting required.
Detailed on-the-job training will be provided.
Complete safety training as required.
Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: Must have strong interpersonal skills and enjoy working with the public.
Must be available for work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays.
Ability to work independently and as a team.
