Campbell Lea is a full service, independent law firm with a local focus in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island.
The lawyers at Campbell Lea carry on the long-standing dedication to professionalism while to expertly navigating today’s legal demands. We offer a broad range of legal services to individual and corporate clients in the private and public sectors, and pride ourselves on the quality of service provided to our clients.
We are currently seeking a bright and motivated lawyer with an interest in criminal law, litigation, and/or family law to join our expanding firm.
THE FIRM
- Dates back to the turn of the century and the firm's founding member, W. E. Bentley, K.C., who was admitted to the Prince Edward Island Bar in 1897.
- Takes pride in our longevity and are devoted to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, which have characterized this firm for more than one hundred years.
- Provides sound advice and effective representation that meets our clients’ needs.
- Currently practices in the areas of Business Law, Wills & Estates, Personal Injury, Criminal and Regulatory Law, Labour & Employment, Real Estate Transactions, Litigation, Family Law, and Municipal and Land Use Planning.
YOUR SKILLS
- Membership in good standing with a provincial bar and eligible for membership in the Prince Edward Island Law Society.
- At least one year of relevant experience practicing law.
- Demonstrated commitment to client service.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated time management skills, with strong ability to balance multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining composure and professionalism.
- Ability to develop and retain a strong client base.
- A passion for the law, strong work ethic, and excellent interpersonal skills.
