Live-In caregiver

I am in urgent need of a dedicated and empathetic Senior/Healthcare professional who is comfortable committing to a full-time, live-in caregiver role. As the need is immediate, I am seeking someone who can start as soon as possible. This role requires approximately 40 to 50 hours of work each week. While there is some flexibility, the typical schedule generally includes full day shifts on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Evening to mid-day shifts are needed on Tuesday and Thursday, and shifts that begin mid-day on Saturday and last until Sunday morning are also required. A valid driver's license is a crucial requirement for this role as the caregiver will be expected to use their own vehicle for tasks such as grocery shopping and running various other errands. Your duties will also involve organizing visits, outings, and social interactions with friends, neighbors, and family members. The job responsibilities are extensive and include ambulation assistance and personal care tasks; such as bathing, dressing, grooming, housekeeping, doing laundry, meal preparation, planning visits and running errands. This role also encompasses Alzheimer's/Dementia care, as well as palliative care. Either experience with, or a willingness to work with, patients suffering from conditions such as Alzheimer's and Dementia is vital. Also, managing incontinence (diaper) care is a core task.
