Course Description: Focuses on the importance of adequate housing and quality neighbourhoods. It roots theoretical explanations and policy debates in realities using Canada and Toronto as examples. Topics covered include the evolution of public policies relating to social housing, rental housing, homeownership, neighborhoods, and homelessness.

Sessional Lecturer (FCE 0.50): SL I: $9997.48, SL I - Long Term: $10699.22, SL II: $10699.22, SL II - Long Term: $10953.96, SL III: $10953.96, SL III - Long Term: $11228.90

Qualifications ( Minimum ):   MA in related field, at least 5 years of experience teaching at the university level, at least 5 years of experience marking undergraduate essays, evidence of recent teaching effectiveness, ability to teach online, if required.

Qualifications ( Preferred ):   A PhD in Geography or a related field, or substantial professional experience.

Brief description of duties: Instructors will lecture on the themes of the course; prepare the syllabus and lectures; develop and administer grading, course assignments, tests and exams; mark and invigilate exams; hold regular office hours; and supervise teaching assistants. Duties of this position shall be performed at the campus on which the position is located.
