Expected Start Date: June 22, 2026 Union: SUN Facility: Primary Health Care - Regina 3 City/Town: Regina Department: Community Health Services Type: Full-time regular FTE: 1 Shift Information: Days, Evenings, Weekends, Stats Number of Hours per Rotation: 224 hours per 6 weeks Relief: No Float: No Hours of Work: Standard Hours Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Nurse Practitioner $52.590 to $62.910 Travel Required: Yes Job : This position works as part of an interdisciplinary primary health care team. Under the direction of the Primary Health Care Manager, the Nurse Practitioner will provide primary health care services to the community. The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care for clients in the community both independently and collaboratively with a physician, depending upon the complexity of client needs. This includes: health promotion and protection; first line treatment and emergency services; provision of supportive counselling and instruction in management of medical conditions; disease and injury prevention; initiating and conducting community needs assessments and participating in evaluative projects; and collaboration with and referral to other health care professionals. This is a community-based position therefore the incumbent is required to work at a high level of independent clinical practice. Human Resources Exemption: No Experience- One year experience in community needs assessment/development/health promotion
- 3 years experience as an RN in primary care, public health or acute care
Education
- Graduate from an approved School of Nursing
Licenses
- Registered Nurse (RN)
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
