Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook Vietnamese dishes according to restaurant standards
- Prepare ingredients such as vegetables, meats, noodles, sauces, and other food items
- Assist with food preparation, cooking, and plating during busy service periods
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations
- Follow proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
- Assist with inventory, food storage, and receiving supplies
- Wash dishes and perform general kitchen cleaning duties as required
- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure food is prepared efficiently and consistently
Qualifications
- Previous kitchen or restaurant experience preferred
- Vietnamese/Asian cooking experience is an asset
- Knowledge of food preparation and food safety
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Food Safety Certification is an asset
Compensation
- Salary based on experience and qualifications
- Full-time position
