About the Role

We are looking for a full time Seasonal Yard Customer Service Representative with forklift experience (late March/early April to mid-December) to support our team at our Leaside location located at 31 Industrial Street .

Depending on the role or day, this person may service customers in the yard by loading and unloading materials, and support proactive movement of materials on the premises and yard maintenance. May also be required to act as spotter for delivery trucks and to support the creation bags of aggregates.

Requirements

• Must have valid forklift certificate
• Excellent customer service skills
• Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills to work in a diverse environment
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
• Able to work on a 5-6-day rotating work schedule Monday through Saturday
• Open to flexible hours depending on workload
• Able to work independently and as a collaborative team

Working Conditions

• Flexible hours including Saturdays (half day) on a rotating schedule

• Lifting, moving, or manipulating objects up to 80-100 lbs.
• Extended periods of standing
• Hazards associated with conducting work outdoors (sun, rain, snow, etc.)

• Use of required personal protective equipment - must have safety boots (CSA Green triangle patch and CSA White rectangle with orange Greek letter omega - O)

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

• We are located at 31 Industrial Street in Toronto, Ontario. Start times rotate between teams and teams will be required to start at 6:00 am, or 8:00 am depending on the week. Are you able to reliably commute for a 6:15 am shift start those weeks it is required?
