Security Officer

A leader in Retail Security, Stratus Security is currently seeking experienced Loss Prevention Professionals or licensed and experienced Security Professionals who are interested in making a transition to Loss Prevention.

Stratus Security has expanded into new markets with high profile clients and as a result is seeking professionals who are interested in joining our Team.

You will be responsible for implementing procedures and systems to prevent merchandise loss.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol premises to detect and locate suspected shoplifters
• Safely recover assets and make apprehensions/arrests.
• Investigate and resolve various fraud and theft cases

Qualifications

• Previous experience in surveillance, loss prevention, or other related fields
• Familiarity with retail security
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• BC Basic Security License

Licence/Certification

• Security license (preferred)
