A deep understanding of mining regulations and proficient communication skills are vital for success in this role. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage emergency response team activities, including training
• Ensure compliance with government regulations and documentation
• Lead annual mock emergency scenarios for practice
• Perform audits of fire detection systems on site
• Coordinate with health care partners for emergency management

Requirements:

• WSCC certification for both mine rescue operations
• 5-6 years of relevant emergency services experience
• Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken
• Capability with Microsoft Office and associated software
• Self-motivated with a positive team attitude
