Consultant(e) senior finance MicrosoftF&O | MicrosoftF&O Senior Finance Consultant (Montreal)

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Manager, D365 Consultant, the Senior D365 F&O Finance Functional Consultant is a key member of the Microsoft team. The role involves acting as an essential bridge between technical teams and business users to ensure robust ERP solutions aligned with business objectives.

• Analyze client business needs and translate them into precise functional solutions within the D365 F&O Finance module.
• Actively participate in all phases of implementation projects – analysis, design, configuration, testing, training, and go‑live – ensuring optimal quality.
• Expertly configure and customize the Finance module, including general ledger, accounts receivable/payable, fixed assets, cash and bank management, and period closing.
• Work closely with technical teams (developers, architects) to ensure solution integration and consistency.
• Act as a key contact point, simplifying technical concepts and maintaining excellent relationships with business stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain clear and comprehensive functional documentation (specifications, user guides, procedures).
• Support and train end‑users for successful solution adoption and provide effective post‑deployment support.
• Ensure continuous functional and technological watch on new features of the D365 F&O Finance module and contribute to process improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of confirmed experience as an ERP Functional Consultant, with several full implementation projects on Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O – Finance module.
• Excellent understanding of financial processes and accounting best practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance certification (strong asset).
• CPA title, an asset.
• Experience in ERP project management, a significant asset.
• Good oral and written communication skills, in French and English.
