Expected Start Date: September 03, 2026 Union: SUN Facility: Victoria Hospital City/Town: Prince Albert Department: Combined Care Obstetrical Nursing Unit Type: Full-time temporary Expected Up to Date: July 04, 2027 FTE: 1 Shift Information: Days Number of Hours per Rotation: 28 shifts of 8 hours per 6 weeks Relief: No Float: No Hours of Work: Standard Hours Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Nurse B $42.040 to $52.440 Travel Required: No Job : The Clinical Educator integrates skills and knowledge from nursing theory and principles of adult learning in the provision of direct patient care, clinical coordination, clinical problem-solving, education, and research for a defined group of patients and/or programs. The incumbent will: Provide leadership that is visible, pro-active and provides the delivery of client care through the application of practice standards. In consultation with the Obstetrics, Maternal Visiting Program and combined Diabetes Antenatal Clinic, the individual is responsible for assessing learning needs of staff, planning, implementing, and evaluating designated educational activities/programs either facility-based and/or region wide. The Obstetrics Nurse Educator will use a consultative approach with evidenced based research to provide support to obstetrics staff. Human Resources Exemption: No Education- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
