Position Overview

As an employee of the Lloydminster Interval Home Society, your role will be a casual Team Associate at “For the Interval” Store (FIS) and “the Impact Depot” (ID) . Energetic, hardworking and reliable you will thrive in this fast paced, fun and rewarding environment. You will possess and demonstrate your passion forproviding excellent donor, customer, and volunteer experience in support of theLloydminster Interval Home Society.

As part of the team, you will contribute to the leadership in the day-to-day operations of FIS and ID and offer excellent service to our customers, our clients, our donors, and our volunteers. Being comfortable working in all areas of our operations, as well as opening or closing is required, both independently and as part of a team. Given the needs of our Social Enterprise operations, you MUST be willing and available to work Saturday daytime shifts. In addition, there are opportunities to cover shifts for full time staff during the week.

The demands of the position are physical, andyou must be able to stay active, on your feet, throughout much of the day, lifting, moving variousdonations and retail items (some heavy in nature - i.e., furniture, bags of clothing,etc.).

We require you to have a minimum of3 years driving experience. Being comfortable driving a truck with a trailer is preferred; however, trainingis offered to those willing to learn.

The main areas this roles will work in include:

· Front-facing, fast paced retail environment . These is not your regular retail environment! We currently operate 2 thrift stores,so these roles include opening, closing, operating our POS system, customer interactions, client support andso much more! · Donor interactions, warehouse work and inventory management. This role includes receiving donations, quick sorting items, merchanising, and loading/unloading and transporting items between locations. If thistype of work is for you - please apply!

Qualifications:

As an enthusiastic,professional individual you MUST work well in a team environment and have a working knowledge of Microsoft 365.

A minimum of one year of retail experience, human services and/or inventorymanagement and warehousing is PREFERRED .

Ability to drive LIHS vehicles is an asset. A valid drivers license, and a clean driving record is mandatory, alongwith a minimum of 3 years driving and insurable history.
