Clinic Manager

About the Role

We are partnering with a growing private healthcare clinic in Calgary to find an experienced Clinic Manager who will take ownership of the clinic's daily operations and play a central role in its continued growth.

This is a pivotal leadership position for someone who thrives at the intersection of people management, patient experience, and operational excellence. You will be the operational backbone of the practice — leading the administrative team, optimizing patient flow, managing systems and compliance, and ensuring both staff and patients have a consistently positive experience. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the clinic, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently
• Lead, schedule, and support the front-desk and administrative team, fostering a positive and collaborative culture
• Manage patient flow, appointment scheduling, and the overall patient experience from check-in to follow-up
• Oversee billing, invoicing, and reconciliation, and maintain accurate records within the clinic's EMR system
• Ensure the clinic meets all healthcare privacy, safety, and regulatory compliance standards
• Handle staffing matters including hiring, onboarding, training, and performance support
• Manage inventory, supplier relationships, and clinic resources
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and service quality
• Act as the key point of contact between clinical staff, administrative staff, and clinic leadership

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of experience managing a medical, dental, or allied-health clinic
• Proven leadership and team-management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
• Strong working knowledge of EMR systems, scheduling software, and clinic billing processes
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a calm, steady presence under pressure
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills — genuinely good with both staff and patients
• Familiarity with Alberta healthcare privacy and compliance requirements (a strong asset)
• A proactive, ownership mindset and a genuine interest in helping a practice grow
