We are hiring a full-time Private Chef with a strong background in fitness and performance nutrition for a private residence. You will cook fresh, hot meals in our kitchen every day for a family of four - two adults and two high-school athletes.
This is a hands-on, in-home cooking job first. We want real meals cooked fresh and served hot - breakfast, lunch and dinner - not a fridge full of reheated containers. Batch prep supports training, school and travel schedules, but daily scratch cooking in our kitchen is the core of the role. We also want a training background - personal trainer, strength coach or sports nutrition - so you understand how food drives training results. DUTIES- Cook and serve fresh, hot scratch meals daily: breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks
- Build weekly menus to individual macro and calorie targets
- Program nutrition around training cycles: training, game and rest days
- Time pre-workout, post-workout and travel meals to the athletes' schedules
- Weigh and portion meals; track intake and adjust plans based on results
- Batch prep to cover early practices, late nights and road trips
- Plan, source and purchase all groceries within an agreed budget; submit receipts
- Manage pantry, fridge and freezer inventory; rotate stock, minimize waste
- Accommodate all dietary concerns, allergies and sensitivities
- Full kitchen sanitation: dishes, cookware, counters, cooktop, oven, appliances
- Scheduled deep cleans, fridge/freezer defrost, safe food handling REQUIREMENTS
- Professional scratch-cooking experience (private household, personal chef or restaurant)
- Certified personal trainer, strength coach or equivalent
- Working knowledge of macronutrients, calorie targets and portion control
- Safe Food Handling certificate
- Class 5 licence and reliable vehicle
- Criminal record check with vulnerable sector; verifiable references
