The Granite Installer/Finisher plays a vital role in both residential and commercial projects, working within small teams of 2-3 installers. This position involves precise measurement, cutting, and installation of granite surfaces, followed by polishing and quality inspections to ensure high standards. The role requires effective use of both standard tools and machinery, maintaining safety compliance and providing excellent customer interaction with minimal travel requirements.
Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, and install granite surfaces accurately
- Polish and finish granite to meet quality standards
- Inspect completed work for defects or issues
- Maintain tools and equipment in proper working order
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols
- Collaborate with small teams to complete projects efficiently
- Communicate professionally with customers on-site
Required Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in granite/solid surface installation
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in stone fabrication
- Proficiency with hand and power tools
- Knowledge of surface finishing techniques
- Strong commitment to safety compliance
- Physical stamina for demanding work
