Summary of Position As a Product Designer, you will design thoughtful, accessible, and user‑centered experiences that serve patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers. You will work on complex, primarily desktop‑based workflows such as appointment management, patient records, and virtual care interactions, translating them into clear, effective solutions that drive real impact.
You are a collaborative designer with a strong visual sensibility and a thoughtful approach to problem‑solving. You combine visual craft with critical thinking to create intuitive and inclusive experiences that support a range of user needs and levels of digital literacy. You actively seek feedback and use it to refine your thinking, validate assumptions, and continuously improve your work.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Build a deep understanding of our customers and their needs.
Distill complex requirements into elegant experiences.
Iterate design ideas through sketches, user flows, and wireframes.
Develop and deliver well‑documented, high‑fidelity designs that align with both accessibility standards and our existing design system.
Collaborate closely with the design lead and cross‑functional partners in product and engineering to ensure solutions support business goals and are technically feasible.
Contribute to the evolution of our design system by extending existing components and improving patterns for accessibility.
Clearly communicate design decisions and incorporate feedback to refine ideas.
Participate in design QA to ensure designs are implemented accurately and aligned with accessibility and design system standards.
Support user research efforts by helping plan and conduct usability testing, and synthesizing feedback from users and stakeholders.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree required (additional years of work experience may be substituted).
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in digital design, with a strong portfolio showcasing both mobile and desktop experiences.
Background in interaction design, graphic design, computer science, information science, human factors engineering, or related fields.
Proficiency in Figma is required.
Strong understanding of user‑centered design, with a focus on accessibility and experience applying WCAG standards.
Experience working within or contributing to a design system.
Appetite for solving complex workflow problems.
Strong visual skills and a sensibility that fuses beauty with usability.
Bonus: experience in healthcare or regulated domains.
Compensation & Work Environment Hourly Rate Range: $45.00 to $52.00 per hour.
Position Type: Hybrid (Office & Remote).
