Job Summary

Our client, Beattie Industrial Limited is seeking an Inside Technical Sales and Hose Technician to join their team in Paradise, NL. Key Responsibilities

 

• Provide customer-facing and inside sales support for hydraulic hose, industrial hose, fittings, and fluid connector products.
• Assembly, inspection and testing of hose products of various sizes and pressure classes.
• Organizational and Technical proficiency to assist customers with product inquiries and help identify the correct hose and fittings for their application.
• Prepare quotations and process customer orders.
• Learn the company's product lines including hydraulics, Parker hose and fittings, Contitech hose products, industrial hose, and fluid connectors.
• Work with customer procurement systems such as SAP, Fieldglass, or similar platforms when required.
• Assist with basic accounting or administrative tasks related to sales, experience with Sage considered and asset.
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications & Experience

 

 

• Certification and previous experience in a similar field with an in-depth knowledge of hose assembly techniques for high- and low-pressure assembly products from 1/8' to 6'
• Certification by hydraulics and industrial hose manufacturers and solid knowledge of the Parker brand of hydraulic and fluid connector products
• Customer-facing and inside sales experience in preparing quotations, and processing orders
• Positive, professional attitude with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
• Familiar with basic accounting (invoicing, quoting, purchasing, inventory control etc.)
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
