Ericsson Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Job Responsibility:

· Experience of leading and completing projects.

· RE will be part of Rogers' extended team, reviewing/implementing MOPs in MW, and assisting in day-to-day network troubleshooting.

· Experience with Ericsson CNIS or ECCD required. RTCS/BSS expert with O&M experience. Hands-on experience necessary.

· Familiarity with node-level and directory-level questions from Rogers. Working experience with Cisco IOS-XR, IOS, Juniper SRX firewalls, JUNOS software.

· Knowledge of firewall rules and security zones in Juniper SRX. Creation/evaluation of EDS and MOPs for Juniper and Cisco Configuration on the Network.

· Solid understanding of advanced IP networks (IPv4, IPV6, MPLS, OSPF, BGP, QOS, RSVP).

· Work with multiple vendor setups (Juniper/Cisco) and troubleshooting in a multi-vendor environment.

· Assistance in coaching junior staff on CNIS Cloud-based Infra Spine and Leaf IP Network Architecture and Configuration.

Skills & Qualifications:

· Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or equivalent.

· Experience in Network/IT Operations for Telecom.

· Knowledge of cloud technologies (OpenStack, Kubernetes).

· Linux proficiency (file system, bash scripting, crontab).

· Telecom environment experience (2nd Level support, Planning & Design, Build).

· Debugging, project implementation, network configuration.
