Electrical Automation Engineer in Kingston

Canada Royal Milk seeks an Electrical and Automation Engineer in Kingston, Ontario. Primarily hands-on, this role focuses on improving electrical systems and automation in a leading infant formula facility.

As a vital part of our technical team, you'll collaborate with production, maintenance, and quality assurance to enhance plant performance. You will manage the electrical distribution systems, lead root cause analysis, and guide operators on equipment maintenance. Your work will directly impact our mission to deliver safe, reliable infant nutrition.

Key Responsibilities: • Spearhead electrical plant maintenance program improvements • Program and maintain PLCs, robots, and power distribution • Provide technical support for troubleshooting and repairs • Lead cross-functional project coordination • Manage root cause analyses and implement corrective actions

Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering • 5+ years in a manufacturing environment • Experience with Rslogix5000, Siemens is a plus • Strong troubleshooting and project management skills • P. Eng designation is an asset
