M&A Financial Modeling Analyst

Financial modeling and valuation are central to this EY M&A Analyst or Associate opportunity. Build transaction insight through research, scenario analysis, and strategic advice.Within EY’s established M&A Practice, you will support mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, financing, and valuations. The work spans market and industry analysis, comparable transactions, detailed models, valuation techniques, and client presentations. You will contribute throughout the process while collaborating with EY colleagues, clients, and target personnel.Key Responsibilities:
Build detailed financial models, including scenario analysisPrepare valuations using DCF, multiples, and precedent transactionsAnalyze market, competition, industry risks, and business driversPrepare management, client, and marketing presentationsProvide strategic advice across industries and transactionsRequirements:
Business, finance, accounting, or similar undergraduate degreeAnalyst: two to four years of related work experienceAssociate: minimum four years of relevant experienceStrong attention to detail and analytical thinkingAbility to work independently under competing deadlinesBring rigorous valuation, modeling, and transaction analysis capabilities to EY’s growing mergers and acquisitions practice.
