CPA Manager

Job Responsibility:

TaxAssist Canada is a part of a TaxAssist Global Franchise operating multiple locations across Canada. We are professional, agile and innovative.

Duties:- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes- Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities- Process payroll and ensure timely and accurate payment to employees- Utilize accounting software such as Xero, Sage, or other similar platforms

- Preparing T1, T2, T2 and GST returns

- Meeting with clients to gain an understanding of their accounting and tax needs.- Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes

Qualifications:- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required- Proven experience in accounting or finance roles- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices- Proficiency in using accounting software and tools- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines- Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Salary: $50.00-$65.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
