Position Overview

Join the Finning Canada family, part of the world’s largest Caterpillar dealer. We are currenting recruiting a labourer to join our team in Estevan. This position is responsible for general labour and wash bay duties in a service-oriented environment.

• Wage: $23.83 - $27.87 (depending on experience)
• $3.50 continuous shift premium
• Paid Time Off in Year 1: Vacation, sick and 7 days flex time
• 5.75% Employer paid pension, plus up to 1% additional

Job Description

• Uphold a high team standard of work with a safety-first mindset

• Perform general cleanup of the shop, yard, and machines, focusing on 5S and Caterpillar Contamination Control initiatives.

• Wash and detail equipment and service trucks

• Run parts and tooling to field sites to technicians, welders and machinist

• Perform tasks outside core competency, learn new skills as needed, complete tasks promptly, and provide feedback to stakeholders

• Assist mechanics where needed

Qualifications

• Completion of grade 12

• Physical requirement ability to lift/move up to 40 lbs

• Positive attitude, eagerness to learn new skills.

• Team player, comfortable in a fast-paced environment

• Proficient in workplace safety, hazard evaluation, and pre-work task planning

• Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration at all levels

• Desire to be part of a world-class team focused on achieving results

• This position is based in Estevan on a 7x7 continuous shift rotation
