Job Overview

We’re looking for a Field Labourer who’s mechanically inclined, reliable, and ready to support our operations with everything from prep to site deliveries. This role is ideal for someone is looking to progress to a trades role, enjoys variety in their day, working with tools, and supporting skilled tradespeople.

Reports to: Field Service Supervisor

Shift : 7x7, 12 hours a day

Safety Sensitive: Yes- drug & alcohol testing, physical demand fit testing, RCMP criminal record check and submission of 5-year provincial driving record will be required

Travel: up to 25% within the region

Relocation: Not eligible for relocation

Key Job Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate vehicle maintenance
• Organize materials and prep jobs for shop and field work
• Maintain task and maintenance checklists to keep operations running smoothly
• Use hand tools and assist with basic assembly or fabrication tasks
• Move machinery, tools, and products to designated shop areas
• Prep parts for paint and assist with sandblasting and painting components
• Support Journeypeople welders, mechanics, and machinists
• Deliver parts and equipment to local mine sites as needed

Qualifications/Requirements

• Completion of high school diploma
• A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a manufacturing or industrial environments
• Mechanically inclined with a strong work ethic
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet
• Welding, grinding, or carpentry skills are a plus
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and able to access any mine site without restriction
• A strong safety mindset and willingness to follow direction
