Job Description

As part of the partnership between the Pessamit community and Aramark Quebec, we are seeking Room Attendants for the Hydro-Québec Manic-3 Camp.

Aramark offers 14 days on / 14 days off work rotation.

Transportation is provided by air from Montreal and Quebec City airports.
A shuttle service is also available from Pessamit and Baie-Comeau to Manic-3.

Employees are provided with meals and private accommodation. Laundry facilities (washer and dryer) are available on site.

Position: Room Attendant

Location: Manic-3

Wage: $21.02/hour

The schedule consists of 70 hours per week. Any hours worked beyond 40 hours per week are paid at time-and-a-half.

Job Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms and bathrooms in accordance with Aramark and client standards and requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment that promotes the health and safety of others.
• Respond effectively to operational needs.
• Ensure service quality and customer satisfaction.
• Comply with all applicable hygiene and sanitation standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene and sanitation programs.
• Follow safety procedures and apply standard precautions due to physical hazards and exposure to hazardous chemicals.
• Adhere to all established safety regulations.
• Perform any other related duties as required.

Qualifications

• Housekeeping experience (an asset).
• Experience working in a remote camp environment (an asset).
• WHMIS certification (an asset).
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to work independently and manage assigned tasks.
• Ability to adapt to changing operational requirements.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good physical condition.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Positive attitude, honesty, and sound judgment.

• A successful candidate for this position will be required to complete a criminal background check and, where applicable, a vulnerable sector screening. Employment with Aramark will be conditional upon results deemed satisfactory by Aramark.

The pay range for this position is $21,02 - $21,02.
