SISIP FINANCIAL

A full suite of financial solutions, tailored to the realities of our Canadian Armed Forces Members and their families, is offered through the SISIP Financial division within CFMWS. In addition to conventional insurance, investment and financial advice products and services, we pride ourselves in delivering preventative financial education and, where required, counselling, to support our members’ financial wellbeing. SISIP Financial services are available to Canadian Armed Forces Members both virtually and in-person. We have 23 offices located in CAF communities across Canada. Our national office is located in Ottawa.

THE ROLE

As the Senior Manager, Client and Advisory Services, you will play a key leadership role in strengthening client and advisor support across SISIP Financial. You will lead a virtual team of licensed and unlicensed professionals, enhance operational and regulatory practices, and advance strategic initiatives that support consistent, high-quality service across branches nationwide. In this role, you will:

Lead and develop a high-performing virtual team, promoting employee engagement, professional growth, accountability, and consistent service delivery

Strengthen the client and advisor experience by establishing service standards, improving support processes, and leading client outreach and engagement activities

Champion operational excellence and business transformation, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement

Provide oversight in a regulated environment, ensuring compliance with industry requirements and internal policies

Collaborate and partner with senior leaders, advisors, internal partners to advance business priorities

The ideal candidate excels at coaching and inspiring others, navigating complex business and regulatory requirements, championing change, and translating organizational priorities into practical solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education, Certifications and Licenses

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Economics or a related field AND some years of experience in financial services and sales

OR

College diploma or Certificate in Business Administration, Commerce, Economics or a related field AND several years of experience in financial services and sales

CIRO/AMF Branch Compliance Manager qualification OR Investment Funds Course (IFC)

A member in good standing with provincial securities commissions and/or life insurance regulators

Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and/or Life License Qualification Program (LLQP) an asset

Experience

In developing and implementing coaching strategies and plans

RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead a virtual team of licensed and unlicensed administrators, across SISIP Financial branches to ensure engagement and delivery of consistent client experience.

Contribute to the development and communication of the divisional program’s vision, mission and values.

Participate in strategic, goals and business planning, and lead business planning sessions with designated teams.

Coach and develop employees to meet business goals, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), advisory and client service standards and regulatory requirements.

Manage and support assigned business initiatives as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for new projects, business tools, and processes.

Develop internal procedures and manage processes to conduct internal quality control of Tier 1 regulatory activities.

This is a hybrid position with an assigned work location allowing the employee to work partly from a corporate office and partly from a home office in accordance with the CFMWS Flexible Work Options Policy, and with approval from the direct manager.
