This foundational role at BDO invites a versatile data professional with over three years of experience in data engineering or BI development. You will be instrumental in implementing BDO's first data lake and integrating various sources, such as SQL servers, Oracle databases, and APIs. Engage with stakeholders to develop proof-of-concept dashboards and enhance usability through modeling. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain pipelines utilizing Microsoft Fabric
- Model data for Power BI datasets and semantic models
- Support proof-of-concept dashboards for stakeholders
- Monitor ingestion jobs and troubleshoot data refreshes
- Develop documentation and repeatable workflows
- 3+ years in data engineering or BI development
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric or similar tools
- Proficient in T-SQL, DAX, and Python
- Experience with dimensional modeling
- Strong problem-solving skills in data transformation
