Corporate Accountant

Chanden Homes Ltd. has been managing single family & multi-family residential properties for 20 years. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Corporate Accountant to join our growing team at Chanden Homes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, experience with QuickBooks, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform full-cycle corporate accounting duties

Communicate and collaborate regularly with the Senior Accountant

Manage owner billing and trust account transactions

Enter and reconcile bank deposits; complete monthly bank reconciliations

Record daily financial transactions accurately and timely

Enter invoices and manage accounts payable and receivable

File all monthly and annual government remittances (GST, PST, etc.)

Maintain accurate records and handle sensitive financial information confidentially

Assist in preparing internal financial reports and supporting documentation

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies

Qualifications:

Proven experience in accounting (3+ years preferred)

Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Knowledge of trust accounting (asset)

Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
