Clerk/Cashier

Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position Part-Time Clerk/Cashier (15-24 hours/week) at our Wine, Spirits, and Beer location in Nipawin, Saskatchewan.

Reporting to the Wine, Spirits, and Beer Team Leader responsibilities for this position include the following:
Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operatives vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach.
Provide Legendary Service at all touch points through various communication channels.
Maintain a safe and efficient area while adhering to company policies, procedure, and standards in social responsibility and the selling of age restricted items relating to wine, spirits, beer, tobacco, fireworks.
Maintain a clean and well merchandised area including dusting displays, washing shelves and bottles, sweeping, mopping. Exterior cleaning as needed.
Operate point of sale point of sale system and other electronic devices and process sales.
Maintain appropriate stock levels and ensure product freshness and rotation.
Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
19 years of age or older; retail liquor industry sales experience is considered an asset.
Willing and able to obtain Serve It Right certification.
Ability to fulfill physical job requirements; standing, performing regular heavy lifting, working in cooler temperatures.
Flexible work schedule including weekend and evening work.
