Expert Product Design Strategist

Become an Expert Product Design Strategist, leading innovative design systems and coaching a talented team. This role blends hands-on design with strategic oversight to enhance user experiences. You will drive the Foundations Team's design vision, managing and mentoring while actively participating in design tasks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, to refine processes and improve product quality and accessibility. Your contributions will guide long-term product strategies aligned with small business needs. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead design efforts to enhance product consistency and efficiency
- Mentor designers through feedback and career growth
- Collaborate closely with engineering on design implementation
- Champion accessibility and usability throughout product design
- Foster strong product team relationships to support design adoption
- 8+ years in product design, ideally in complex environments
- 4+ years managing teams or mentoring designers
- Involvement in design systems and component architecture
- Strong skills in interaction design and systems thinking
- Proficiency in tools like Figma; familiarity with front-end tech
