We're looking for a Lead Host who sets the tone for the entire room — and for the host team behind them. You're the first face, the first impression, the first spark of Capo energy, and the one who makes sure that energy never drops, no matter how deep the wait list gets.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Own the door — greet every guest like they're walking into a friend's party, not a waitlist
• Lead the host team — train, coach, and set the standard for how Capo welcomes people
• Set the energy — your warmth is the first taste of "sun-soaked" guests get, before the food or the spritz
• Run the floor plan — manage seating, pacing, and reservations so the night feels effortless, even at full tilt
• Turn a wait into part of the experience — no one should dread standing near your stand
• Partner with management and servers to keep tables turning smoothly and guests smiling
• Be the reason a first-timer becomes a regular — and the one they remember on the way out

WHAT YOU BRING

• Minimum 1–2 years of hosting or front-of-house experience, with prior lead or supervisory experience an asset
• A genuine, upbeat presence — you like people, and it shows
• Sharp organizational instincts — you can manage a floor plan, a reservation list, a line, and a team at the same time without losing your cool
• Strong communication and leadership — you're the connective tissue between the door, the floor, and management
• Comfort in a fast-paced, high-volume room
• You take pride in hospitality as a craft — this isn't just standing at a stand to you
