Position Overview
Norstar is seeking a Sales Manager to lead and grow its Agricultural Division. You'll coach an experienced sales team, strengthen accountability, improve sales performance, and help drive the company's continued growth in the agricultural market.
Success in this role requires someone who understands the agricultural industry, earns trust quickly, and can introduce structure, coaching, and sales strategies while building on an already established team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop the agricultural sales team to improve performance, consistency, and accountability
- Establish clear sales targets, KPIs, and performance expectations aligned with company growth goals
- Build trust and credibility with a tenured sales team while driving alignment and continuous improvement
- Create and implement structured sales processes, reporting, and forecasting practices
- Partner cross-functionally with production, customer service, and leadership to ensure alignment and execution
- Identify opportunities for market expansion, product positioning, and revenue growth
- Monitor and evaluate sales performance, providing regular feedback and coaching to the team
- Support a culture of professionalism, integrity, and strong customer relationships across all sales activities

Qualifications & Experience
- 7+ years of sales experience, including 3-5 years in a leadership role.
- Required: Experience selling farm equipment, agricultural equipment, agricultural technology, farm supplies, seed, crop inputs, livestock equipment, or related agricultural products.
- Candidates with experience selling for tractor manufacturers, agricultural equipment dealers, farm supply companies, or precision agriculture providers are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Proven success leading and developing sales teams.
- Experience implementing KPIs, forecasting, and performance management.
- Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Strategic mindset with excellent judgment and professionalism.
