Content Marketing Specialist

turning it into polished, effective content, this could be a great
fit.
We are looking for a part-time Content Marketing Specialist to help
bring our marketing plans to life. You'll work directly with our
leadership team to turn ideas, client results, industry insights, and
clear marketing priorities into high-quality content across email,
web, podcast, campaigns, and more.
This isn't a role where you'll build the company's marketing strategy
on your own. We're looking for someone who can take clear direction,
bring good marketing judgment to the work, and run with it.

Two Ways to Work With Us
We're open to either a part-time employee or independent contractor
arrangement, depending on experience, preference, and mutual fit.

* Part-time employee: $30 CAD/hour, plus applicable vacation pay
* Independent contractor: higher hourly rate, negotiated based on
experience and fit

What You'll Do
Content & Digital Marketing

* Write and edit blogs, newsletters, service-education emails,
campaign emails, website copy, case studies, and other marketing
content
* Turn leadership ideas, client stories, podcast conversations, and
industry insights into strong, audience-relevant content
* Repurpose core content across multiple marketing channels
* Write and optimize website and blog content for publication in
WordPress
* Optimize digital content for SEO, AEO, and AI-driven search using
current best practices
* Conduct basic keyword and topic research to support content
development
* Write podcast titles, descriptions, and supporting promotional copy

Campaigns & Marketing Projects

* Develop content to support [...] services, webinars, events,
conferences, and other marketing opportunities
* Create landing-page and promotional copy
* Turn client results, testimonials, and ROI data into compelling
marketing assets
* Create or draft simple, polished one-pagers and marketing
collateral that follow [...] brand standards
* Collaborate with our social media partner, administrative support,
and other team members to bring campaigns to life
* Use AI tools thoughtfully to support research, writing,
repurposing, optimization, and productivity

Your primary focus is content creation and marketing writing. Our
administrative support team handles much of the routine uploading,
scheduling, formatting, and system entry.

What You Bring

* 3+ years of hands-on experience in content marketing, copywriting,
or marketing coordination
* Excellent writing and editing skills, with experience creating
marketing emails, blogs, website copy, case studies, and other digital
content
* A good eye for clean, professional visual content
* Hands-on experience optimizing content for SEO, AEO, and AI-driven
search, including how to structure content for visibility across
search engines and AI platforms
* Hands-on experience using AI tools in your marketing workflow, and
comfort learning new platforms and systems
* Strong organization, attention to detail, and follow-through, with
the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
* Good marketing judgment and the confidence to suggest improvements
when you see an opportunity
* A mindset of ownership: you don't need someone standing over you to
get the work done

Strong Assets

* Experience in franchising, especially with a franchisor, franchise
supplier, consulting or advisory firm, or franchise-focused agency
* Experience marketing consulting, professional services, training,
or education
* WordPress experience
* Google Analytics and Google Search Console experience
* Experience with design tools such as Canva or AI tools for creating
visual content
* Zoho or similar CRM and email platform experience
* Podcast, webinar, or event marketing experience
* Familiarity with Google Ads or paid social

Role Logistics

* Approximately 10 to 15 hours per week on average to start, varying
week to week based on projects
* Potential for more hours as our needs grow
* Fully remote, with some availability during North American business
hours for meetings and collaboration
* Employee arrangement: must be legally entitled to work in Canada
* Contractor arrangement: open to contractors based in Canada
