Job Description
- Lead and manage a team of developers working on Guidewire solutions.
- Oversee the end-to-end development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, and deployment.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to optimize system performance and reliability.
- Ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and quality assurance processes.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to integrate Guidewire with other systems and platforms.
- Monitor project timelines and budgets, addressing any risks or issues proactively.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to recommend improvements to existing systems.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Guidewire Development Manager should have:
- Strong experience with Guidewire development and implementation.
- Proven ability to lead and manage development teams effectively.
- Excellent understanding of insurance industry processes and requirements.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical issues.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and team members.
- A proactive approach to staying current with industry trends and technologies.
