Senior Landscape Architect – Ontario (Greater Toronto Area)

Lead complex landscape architecture and urban design projects, contribute to business growth, mentor emerging professionals, and shape resilient, people‑centered communities.

Responsibilities

• Lead landscape architecture and urban design projects from concept development through construction administration.
• Shape public spaces, parks, streetscapes, and infrastructure projects that bring people and nature together.
• Provide technical and design leadership across multidisciplinary project teams.
• Contribute to proposal development and business development initiatives to win new work.
• Mentor and support the growth of early‑career landscape architects and designers.
• Collaborate with planners, engineers, scientists, and allied professionals to deliver integrated solutions.
• Represent WSP with professionalism when engaging clients, stakeholders, and the public.

Qualifications

• Degree in Landscape Architecture with 12+ years progressive professional experience.
• Full Member in Good Standing with OALA (or equivalent provincial association, with seal).
• Demonstrated experience leading projects from concept to completion, including contract administration.
• Strong project management and financial acumen.
• Advanced technical skills in core design and production tools (AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, MS Office).
• Proven ability to communicate and present design ideas clearly to diverse audiences.
• Willingness to undertake fieldwork and participate in construction site reviews.
• Collaborative mindset with a passion for mentorship, design excellence, and continuous learning.

Compensation

• AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $104,100 – $138,000
• MB & ON: $95,000 – $130,800
• NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $94,100 – $124,900
