Required Qualifications and Experience- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline; equivalent training and professional experience may also be considered.
- Approximately 10 or more years of progressive network engineering experience , including experience at a senior or advanced level.
- At least five years of experience designing and implementing hybrid networks across Azure and AWS.
- Strong hands-on Cisco networking and switching experience.
- Recent experience with Cisco Nexus 4K switches and data-centre switching environments.
- Experience delivering major switch-refresh, infrastructure-modernization or data-centre technology-refresh projects.
- Advanced administration of Palo Alto physical and VM-Series next-generation firewalls.
- Strong experience with Panorama and centralized policy administration.
- Experience creating, deploying and optimizing firewall security policies.
- Experience deploying and troubleshooting IPSec site-to-site VPNs and GlobalProtect.
- Strong Azure networking experience, including VNETs, subnets, NSGs, route tables, peering, load balancers and VPN gateways.
- Experience designing and implementing Azure hub-and-spoke architecture.
- Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code within cloud platforms.
- Working experience with AWS networking environments.
- Experience deploying and managing F5 load balancers.
- Experience with Cisco ISE and DNS management.
- Experience with enterprise LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, WLAN and data-centre networking.
- Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, STP, EtherChannel, HSRP, VRRP, OSPF, BGP, IGRP, EIGRP and multicast concepts.
- Strong troubleshooting and root-cause-analysis skills.
- Experience working within ITIL-based incident, problem, change and configuration-management processes.
- Strong technical documentation and communication abilities.
