Build Python APIs and backend systems in Toronto’s hybrid DNV office, supporting scalable platforms and AI-ready data foundations. Apply SQL and FastAPI daily.As Senior Software Developer, you will design, develop, test, and maintain platform capabilities across Digital & Transformation. Your work spans Python, SQL, FastAPI, data modeling, API development, and cloud-native technologies. You will translate business and domain requirements into reliable, secure, maintainable software.Key Responsibilities:
Design and maintain Python services and FastAPI endpointsDevelop SQL solutions for business dataBuild reusable APIs and platform componentsTranslate requirements into production-ready softwareSupport testing, documentation, monitoring, and production issuesRequirements:
Senior software development experienceHands-on Python, SQL, and FastAPI expertiseExperience with data modeling and API developmentUnderstanding of cloud-native platform technologiesExperience delivering backend and cloud-based solutionsBring senior software engineering expertise across Python, FastAPI, SQL, backend platforms, and reliable API delivery at DNV.
