Apprentice Pipefitter

Right Choice Energy Services Inc. (RCESI) is accepting applications for Apprentice Pipefitters to join our team in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan.

Reporting to the Shop and/or Site Supervisor(s), this position supports piping fabrication and construction activities in both shop and field environments. This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to develop their skills and build a career in the skilled trades.

Responsibilities include:
Reporting fit for duty at the start of each shift
Assisting with piping installation, fabrication, and assembly
Reading drawings, specifications, and spool drawings
Measuring, cutting, threading, and installing piping components
Assisting with bolt-up, torqueing, and hydrostatic testing
Operating hand tools, power tools, and pipe threading equipment
Following RCESI Quality Control and Safety Programs
Maintaining a clean and organized work area
Other duties as assigned

The successful candidate will:
Be registered in or interested in pursuing a Pipefitting Apprenticeship (asset)
Be safety conscious and committed to safe work practices
Have an interest in piping, mechanical, structural, and fabrication work
Be able to read drawings and specifications (spool drawing experience an asset)
Be physically capable of lifting 20+ lbs. and working in various environments
Hold or be willing to obtain First Aid and H2S Alive certifications
Be willing to work overtime, weekends, and travel throughout Southern Saskatchewan, Alberta, and Manitoba
Hold a valid drivers licence with a clean abstract

This is a safety-sensitive position. Successful candidates must complete a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol test. Audiometric and lung function testing will be completed upon hire as required.
