Civil Engineer (Intermediate)

The opportunity

Associated Engineering, a proudly Canadian, Employee-owned Company is seeking an experienced and dedicated Civil Engineer (Intermediate) to join our team in our Edmonton office. In this role you will be working on municipal infrastructure projects, including water mains, sanitary sewers, site grading, stormwater drainage, roadways and containment systems. You will provide technical expertise and project coordination while demonstrating resourcefulness, and adaptability in your role. You will have hands-on involvement in preparing proposals, advancing projects through the concept, design and construction phases. You will also be involved in managing and developing new clients.

Does this sound like you?

• Undergraduate degree Civil Engineering from an accredited post-secondary institution.
• Registered, or eligible for registration, as a Professional Engineer with APEGA.
• 6+ years of municipal engineering experience.
• Experience with design, specifications, scheduling, cost estimating, tendering, construction, and commissioning of roads, drainage, water mains, sewers, and pump stations.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Committed team player and the ability to work independently.
• Consulting experience is an asset.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to travel within Alberta.
