Personal Support Worker (PSW)

We are seeking 2 female PSWs in the Beaverton area to provide care. Shift start times may vary from 7am to 10 am and will be 6-7 hours per day Monday to Friday. We are seeking casual individuals who are available to pick up shifts as needed.
Job Benefits:
- Competitive pay at $21.00
- Benefits Plan available after working 30+ hours per week*
- 4% Vacation Pay on every pay
- Flexible hours and schedule
- 4 hour shift minimum
The successful candidate’s areas of responsibility will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Provide personal care
- House Cleaning and Laundry Daily
- Providing cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual support
- Provide behavioral support and crisis intervention
- Maintaining open communication with client and their family
- Monitoring care plan and adding documentation with any changes and updates
- Responding to all emergency situations
- All other duties, as assigned
Key qualifications for this position will include, but are not limited to:
- PSW certification is required
- Valid First Aid/CPR certificate
- Completion of a Police Vulnerable Sector Check within last 6 months
- CPI training is an asset**
- Drivers License and own insured vehicle is required**
- Satisfactory professional references
- Ability to accurately follow written and verbal instructions
- Must be able to anticipate problems and use sound judgment and tact in handling confidential matters
