Experienced Construction Estimator Position
Tollestrup Construction (2005) Inc.
Join our construction team as an Experienced Construction Estimator, focusing on accurate project bids and cost analysis. This in-person role leverages advanced tools and collaboration for successful projects. We are looking for a detail-oriented Estimator who will play a pivotal role in the bidding process. Utilize Bluebeam and HeavyBid to prepare comprehensive cost estimates while working closely with project managers and subcontractors. You will also enhance project outcomes through effective negotiation skills and project management principles. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed estimates using blueprints and specifications
- Develop comprehensive project budgets for labor and materials
- Collaborate with managers and clients to gather pricing information
- Coordinate estimate development with scheduling and resource planning
- Review and refine estimates for accuracy before submission
- Proven experience in construction estimating
- Proficient in Bluebeam and HeavyBid software
- Strong negotiation skills with vendors and subcontractors
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational capabilities
- Relevant degree in Construction Management or related fields
