Staff Enterprise Systems Engineer

Shape enterprise systems architecture at Fullscript through hands-on engineering, system design, and technical direction across a flexible work model.As a Staff Engineer, you will guide Enterprise Systems connecting e-commerce with ERP, finance, demand planning, and warehouse management. You will lead complex initiatives, make architectural decisions, and build software directly. The work requires collaboration with Product, Engineering, Security, business stakeholders, Tech Leads, and Engineering Managers.Key Responsibilities:
Own architecture, design decisions, and technical directionLead initiatives while balancing delivery and platform healthPlan and review complex systems and workflowsIdentify risks and propose pragmatic improvementsContribute directly to code and unblock developersRequirements:
Seven or more years of software development experienceExperience building high-scale web applications and SaaS systemsStrong system design and trade-off reasoning skillsExperience with Ruby on Rails, React, JavaScript, GraphQL, and REST APIsExperience partnering with cross-functional stakeholdersBring enterprise architecture, hands-on development, and systems thinking to Fullscript’s operationally critical technology domain.
